An earring stack works best when the pieces feel connected but not identical. The easiest approach is to vary size, shape and texture while keeping one or two elements consistent.
Start with one focal earring
Choose the piece with the most visual weight for your first piercing. That could be a small hoop, a textured huggie or a compact statement earring. The remaining earrings should support it rather than compete with it.
Use a size progression
